Loyalty to Resistance bloc reiterates calls for swift formation of cabinet

The Loyalty to Resistance bloc reiterated on Thursday its call for the swift formation of a national unity government, adding that the remaining obstacles are “solvable.”

The bloc’s comments were made following its weekly meeting whereby it noted that the drafting of a new electoral law that gives apt representation for the Lebanese people is essential to rebuild state based on a true partnership.

The bloc also stressed that holding the upcoming parliamentary elections based on the 1960 law hinders all projects aiming to rebuild a “well-founded state’s institutions.”
