Aside from its duty to conduct the exams that help choose the employees, the Civil Service Council, as a monitoring apparatus, must be able to carry out initiatives that help organizing the work of the public institutions and municipalities.
The tasks assigned to the Civil Service Council and which have not been completed are defined in the legislative decree number 59/111 pertaining to organizing the public institutions.
