MP Emile Rahme said Tuesday that the positions currently taken by the Kataeb party do not serve its political interests, calling on the party’s chief MP Samy Gemayel “to follow the steps of his grandfather Pierre Gemayel who sacrificed everything in order to preserve the position of the presidency.”
In a statement to LBCI’s Nharkom Said, Rahme stressed the need to form a new cabinet as soon as possible, urging the political factions to prioritize the nation’s interests over their personal gains.
