President Michel Aoun ruled out any concerns regarding any delay in the formation of a new cabinet, hoping that it will be formed soon to achieve the goals he has set, including fighting corruption that has been eating away the capabilities of the state.
During his meeting with a delegation from Beirut families gathering, Aoun said that the main issue in the country is that instead of implementing sustainable development, there has been sustainable negligence and sustainable corruption, which has destabilized the Lebanese financial situation and made it unproductive.
“This has also forces the young generation to emigrate,” he added, calling on the communities to contribute in order to resolve this issue.
The president also listed other problems that Lebanon has been suffering from, including financial corruption, environmental disasters such as air and water pollution, power outages and shortage of water supply in many regions.
