The natural gas wells, which Israel insists on profiting from, turned into a mediating factor to boost Israel’s relation with Greece and Cyprus.
This comes after Tel Aviv managed to bind Turkey with it as a supporting element in the gas project.
In this context, during a trilateral summit between Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his Greek and Cypriot counterparts held in Israel, the three parties reached an agreement over gas wells, a deal which guarantee financial, political and strategic benefits.
