Truck owners and public bus drivers in North Lebanon staged Saturday a sit-in outside the mechanical inspection center for the 54th day of the open-ended movements declared by the transportation unions across Lebanon.
The transportation unions and public drivers have been staging movements across Lebanon and closing the mechanical inspection centers to protest against the tenders conducted to transfer the management of the mechanical inspection from the state’s authority to a private company.
