Jumblatt blames those trying "to open closed files"

In an honorary ceremony held in Saoufar on Sunday, PSP Leader MP Walid Jumblatt stressed the importance of civil peace, adding that the confrontation will take place during the "fateful" elections.

“I blame those who are trying to open closed files and do not respect neutrality; are they seeking to control the judiciary, the army and the economy?” wondered Jumblatt.

Jumblatt said, addressing old party members: “Do you remember the day you bombed and confronted the Syrian army? We pay tribute to the martyrs of Kataeb and Lebanese Forces in Mount Lebanon war, who died to defend Lebanon.”
