The Director General of General Security Maj. Gen. Abbas Ibrahim stressed Saturday his insistence on finalizing the issue of the abducted soldiers, noting that this case has never been neglected.
In a statement to LBCI’s Nharkom Said, Ibrahim revealed that a Lebanese mediator is taking part in the negotiations in the matter.
He added that coordination is underway between the security apparatuses, revealing that one person planning a suicide attack in the southern city of Sidon was arrested.
