REPORT: Murderer of Majid al-Hachem arrested in Syria

The Syrian authorities arrested Khaled Salim who killed Lebanese citizen Majid al-Hachem before fleeing to Syria.

 

The arrestee will be handed to the Lebanese authorities within the coming few hours to be tried in Lebanon.

61-year-old Al-Hashem, a cab driver, had gone missing on Sunday in Jbeil district.

After two days of search operations, his body was found buried in sand at a stone factory in the Jbeil town of Akoura.
