The families of those detained and convicted over the Abra events staged a sit-in on Friday outside al-Hussein mosque in the southern city of Sidon, within the framework of their movements to call for implementing a decision of general amnesty.
The protesters, including wives, mothers, sisters and cousins of the detainees, raised banners calling for amnesty.
