REPORT: Red Cross warns citizens from impersonators asking for donations

Lebanese Red Cross warned on Saturday Lebanese citizens of fraudsters impersonating their volunteers to request donations.

 

“Some people visit homes and institutions asking for donations pretending they represent Lebanese Red Cross Society. However, Red Cross would like to note that we do not collect donations at this time of year and not in this manner,” a statement issued by the Red Cross said.
