REPORT: Lion dances and temple offerings mark the beginning of the year of the rooster in China
China celebrated the beginning of the year of the rooster on Saturday with lion dances and temple offerings, both believed by many to bring good luck.

 At Beijing's Ditan Park, people gathered to watch traditional lion dances and other performances.

As a new year begins many Chinese like Wang Ze, a tourist from the Eastern city of Ningbo, were hoping for all the best for their loved ones.
