FM Bassil from Cape Town: We want you to have your nationality back

Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil met during his South Africa tour members of the Lebanese community, who held a dinner in his honor in Cape Town.

Bassil addressed the Lebanese Diaspora in the African country, stressing the importance for them to regain their nationality and create stronger ties with their motherland, Lebanon.

He also urged them to participate in the Lebanese Diaspora Energy conference that would take place in Beirut upcoming May.

"Our nationality is the most precious thing we have. We have finally succeeded in decreeing the law for restoring citizenship, and I believe that many of you would benefit from this law. We want you to get your nationality back."
