Saudi Minister of State for Arab Gulf Affairs Thamer Al-Sabhan stressed Monday during his meeting with President Michel Aoun at the Baabda Presidential Palace, that his visit comes within the framework on following up on the matters discussed between President Aoun and the Saudi king.
Al-Sabhan informed Aoun that Saudi Arabia will appoint a new ambassador to Lebanon, encourage the return of Saudi tourists and increase flights there by Saudi airlines.
In turn, President Aoun stressed that he gave instructions to the ministers to complete discussions over the arrangements related to the common grounds between both countries.
From Baabda Palace, al-Sabhan headed to the Grand Serail where he met with Prime Minister Saad Hariri in the presence of Nader Hariri, and they discussed the latest local and regional developments and the bilateral relations.
