Citizens gathered outside the municipality building in Hermel, while others gathered outside the Grand Serail to call on the president, ministers and deputies to issue a general amnesty for those wanted in the region.
The protesters had blocked roads in Hermel and neighboring regions in the early morning hours until 9:00 am.
