REPORT: Parliament holds session to query progress of ministers
Parliament held on Tuesday a session for MPs to query Cabinet ministers over their progress in several issues, including the country’s waste crisis.

During the session, Prime Minister Saad Hariri said that his Cabinet "will not cover up" for any officials, vowing to hold ministers responsible for their work.

The session was chaired by deputy Speaker Farid Makari instead of Speaker Nabih Berri, who was recovering from a recent medical procedure at the Clemenceau Medical Center Sunday.

MP Ali Ammar asked about over the illegal internet case and the public funds.

For his part, Lebanese Forces MP Georges Adwan urged the Parliament to only discuss the drafting of a new electoral law.

He also reiterated the importance of holding the elections on their due time and based on a new vote law.
