Speaker Berri says Parliament seeks to reach agreement over modern electoral law

Speaker Nabih Berri said on Saturday that the Lebanese the Parliament is seeking to reach an agreement over “a modern electoral law.”

Berri’s comments were made by his representative MP Michel Moussa during the opening of the 21st session of the executive committee of the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union in Beirut.

"This would restore Lebanon's role in the region and internationally," Moussa added.
