Sheikh Assir warns of flare-ups in Tripoli
Sheikh Ahmad al-Assir, the Imam of Bilal Bin Rabah Mosque in Sidon, warned on Tuesday that the Tripoli incidents could be repeated so long as members affiliated with the Syrian regime are implementing its agenda, as he said.  

“The goal lies in making Tripoli pay the price of [being involved] in the Syrian issue”, he told Nharkom Said TV Show.     

As he confirmed his opposition to armament, Sheikh Assir said that the arms of the resistance across Lebanese regions incite desire within all parties, especially the Sunnis, to arm themselves, confirming that the issue of arms needs a drastic solution.
