Fierce clashes erupted Friday afternoon between members of Jaafar family and Palestinian individuals from al-Qafas family in Bourj al-Barajneh camp, where machine guns and RPGs were used.
In this regard, a Fatah official in the camp said that order was restored in the camp, noting that they have been in contact with Lebanese Armed Forces and the leaderships of Amal Movement and Hezbollah. “We informed them that the armed men withdrew,” he stated, stressing that the dispute was merely personal with no backdrops.
Sources said that the clashes were caused by a dispute over construction.
