Former Head of Press Federation Baalbaki passed away on Wednesday, at the age of 96.
Baalbaki acted as head of the Federation for 31 years before he resigned in 2013.
Information Minister Melhem Riachi mourned Baalbaki saying: “Today, Lebanon has lost one of its distinctive media figures.
“His bold positions echoed in all forums, defending the rights of journalists and the introduction of rightful words.”
