Armed clashes erupt in Beddawi refugee camp
Armed clashes erupted on Monday dawn at the Beddawi Palestinian refugee camp in north Lebanon between drug dealers and the security committee.
The clashes soon turned into heavy gunfire and grenade explosions, damaging a number of cars and stores.
The Palestinian security committee later on arrested one of the dealers who was identified by his nickname as al-Tablouj.
Schools at the camp were closed, while the Palestinian factions held a meeting to discuss the security situation in order “to put an end for the clashes that have soared during the last two months.”
