Bassil calls for a new vote that gives apt representation for Lebanese expatriates

Minister of Foreign Affairs Gebran basil stressed on Monday the necessity for the new vote law to give the Lebanese expatriates their political rights and guarantee that they are represented with parliamentary seats.

“I suggest that the expatriates would be represented with 6 MPs,” he added.

Bassil’s comments were made during a press conference whereby he stressed that he is working on promoting the relations between the Lebanese people residing in Lebanon and the Lebanese expatriates.
