Ahmadinejad: I will retire from political life in 2013
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad announced Saturday that he will retire from the political life in 2013, announcing that he would likely involve himself in politics at the university but “I will not form a political party or group”.

In an interview to a German newspaper, Ahmadinejad also ruled out the possibility that he would let someone serve one term after him and then return for a third term four years later, as Russian President Vladimir Putin recently did.
