Today's cabinet session adjourned, Wednesday's session called off
The cabinet session scheduled for Tuesday afternoon at the Baabda Palace was postponed due to a lack of quorum after Minister of Displaced Alaa Al-Din Terro failed to attend the session.

In this context, President Michel Sleiman tasked PM Najib Mikati with calling Energy Minister Gebran Bassil to talk the Change and Reform bloc into attending the session.

However, this call did not yield positive results since Bassil confirmed to Mikati that his bloc will boycott both of Tuesday and Wednesday sessions.

The cabinet’s General Secretariat announced that the cabinet session scheduled for Wednesday at 9:30 am at the Grand Serail will be postponed to a later date.
