Introduction to the evening news 06-07-2012
PM Najib Mikati agreed with President Michel Sleiman on calling for holding a cabinet session next Monday. This call came under two main titles: the communications data and the budget.

The importance of these titles makes it embarrassing to boycott the session; therefore the Change and Reform bloc ministers lingered in declaring whether they will participate or not.

In the case of the assassination attempt that targeted MP Boutros Harb, exclusive sources told LBCI that the security apparatuses charged with the investigations seemed to have had many evidence. These apparatuses noted that when the communications data will be delivered completely, the investigations will make significant progress.

On the Syrian level, the defection of the son of former defense Minister General Mustafa Tlass, General Manaf Tlass was put on the same level of interest as the “Friends of Syria” conference. For the first time, a defection of one officer receives this amount of comments. The Pentagon spokesperson said that this defection should not be undermined.
