Protest outside Health Ministry calls for resignation of minister
A number of civil activists from “Haki Alayi” action group staged a protest outside the Health Ministry on Saturday, calling for the resignation of Minister Ali Hassan Khalil, “because he did not keep his promise to implement a plan that provides the Lebanese with 100% health care coverage”, they said.

The Health Minister responded saying that the project has undergone thorough discussion at cabinet and a follow up ministerial committee has been appointed, similar to that of salaries and ranks committee.
