Maronite Patriarch Beshara Rai voiced on Sunday regret over the current situation in Lebanon, citing tension, demonstrations, violations , attempted assassinations and proliferation of illegitimate arms.    

During his Sunday sermon, Rai said that “what is most regrettable is the political cover for all these aberrations that hurt Lebanon as state, entity and model”.
