LBCI continues on its journey in search of 11 Lebanese abductees
LBCI continues on its journey in search of the 11 Lebanese abductees in Syria, by taking 2 of their family members to the Syrian-Turkish border.

A delegation from LBCI took off at 3:30 pm on Tuesday heading to Aazaz in Aleppo and accompanied by Hussain Ibrahim , the brother of abductee Awad Ibrahim and Adham Zughaib, the son of abductee Ali Zughaib.

Earlier at Rafik Hariri International Airport, Zoughaib thanked LBCI for taking them to the Syrian-Turkish border, and said he was ready to go anywhere.

In turn, Ibrahim called on Abu Ibrahim to release the hostages immediately, thanking LBCI again for this initiative.

The eleven  Lebanese pilgrims were kidnapped on their way back from Iran by insurgents hoping to use them for a prisoner swap on the 20th of May.

LBCI was successful in establishing live phone contact with the 11 detainees and one of the kidnappers known as "Abu Ibrahim" on Sunday 29th of July, whereby they confirmed that they were in good health and that they were located in the town of Aazaz, rural Aleppo.
