Clashes have
been raging since 5 pm Wednesday between Mount Akroum’s residents and
Hourani’s, which are located in the East North region of Akkar. This
occurred after a citizen from Akroum gave shelter to a Syrian family
hailing from Syria’s Qusair in his village.
Lebanese citizen Ahmad Berri
Bou Ali, was injured during the clashes and was consequently
transferred to a local hospital. He is announced dead after he was hit by gunfire coming from the Syrian side of El Houraniye.
The LAF is preparing to deploy in this area located
on the Lebanese-Syrian borders, in order to restore peace.
