Assir calls for executing Samaha, says his defenders “criminals”
Sheikh Ahmad Assir continued his scathing campaign on Saturday against each of Speaker Nabih Berri and Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah. But this time, he included Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to his list.

Assir lauded the recent “bold and firm” stances of President Sleiman.

He went on to describe Al-Mokdad Clan as “Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah’s group”, accusing the Hezbollah leader of standing behind the clan.

Separately, Assir called for executing former Minister Michel Samaha and considering all his defenders as “criminals”. He also warned of “unprecedented reactions” in the event that the Military Court succumbs to Berri and Nasrallah’s threats.
