Miss World 2012: Australian-Lebanese Jessica Kahawaty comes in third
Miss China, a 23-year-old music lover who wants to work with the poor, was crowned Miss World 2012 at a ceremony in Inner Mongolia, pageant organizers said on Saturday.

Last year's Miss World, Ivian Sarcos of Venezuela, handed over her crown to Yu, who waved to the audience wearing a sparkling blue gown, in the Dongsheng Stadium in Ordos, located in China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.

Sophie Moulds, a 19-year-old business student from Wales, took second place. Jessica Kahawaty, 23, an Australian law student of Lebanese origin, was third.

Jessica had participated in 2010’s Miss Lebanon contest where she came fourth runner up.
