Sunni scholars consider creating a Military Council
Sunni scholars are suggesting the creation of a Sunni military council after the kidnapping of Syrian citizens by the Mokdad Clan. The Sunnites were provoked by the attitude of the government that “did not exert any effort in order to release the abductees, ignored the international and internal threats and failed to punish the abductors”.

The Sunni scholars across Lebanon are looking into this matter which remains theoretical but could be brought to life within the upcoming days. However, they did not deny the right of the clan to demand the release of their son as long as it is through the legitimate channels.
