Angelina Jolie in Beirut after Syria and Jordan
Hollywood actress and Goodwill Ambassador Angelina Jolie announced Wednesday from the Grand Serail that she met and will meet with Syrian displaced in Lebanon, extending her thanks to the Lebanese state for opening its borders and sheltering them.     

"I was very moved to meet again with the Syrian families and to meet them here, not in a camp, but in homes where they are welcomed and protected", Jolie said following her meeting with the delegation accompanying PM Najib Mikati in the presence of a number of ministers and consultants. Jolie voiced her gratitude to the Lebanese people and to Lebanon for allowing them safety.        

Earlier today PM Mikati had met with MP Simon Abi Ramia and Walid Khoury to discuss the general situation and development issues.Mikati also discussed with the Head of the Council for Development and Reconstruction Nabil al-Jisr the council's suspended projects and the different ways to ensure funding.
