Cautious calm prevails in Tripoli after anti-Muslim film protests
Cautious calm prevails in Tripoli after Mohammad Ali Ayoush was killed and several were wounded as demonstrators waged a protest against the "Anti-Islam" film, setting a KFC restaurant in Tripoli on fire.

According to Reuters sources, 12 members of the security forces were among the wounded by stones thrown by protesters.

The ISF and the LAF worked on dispersing protesters, while fire fighters rushed to the scene to extinguish the fire.

A number of rioters attempted to break into Tripoli Serail. This as heavy gun shot fire was heard around the premises of the governmental building.

Waves of protests have been overtaking the region by storm.

Earlier in the week, there were protests outside U.S. missions in Tunisia, Morocco and Sudan.

In the wake of the Sept. 11 an attack against the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya, killed the ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other Americans.
