REPORT: Buddha Bar Beirut closes its doors

The owners of Buddah Bar in Beirut were fed up with the security situation reigning in Lebanon and the careless Lebanese officials so they decided to close the night club situated in Beirut Down Town, an area known as a hot spot for all sort of demonstrations.

The night club losses increased with the economic and security situations deteriorating and now with the closure decision, more than 150 employees lost their jobs.

These situations and the non-smoking law recently enforced are negatively influencing the Lebanese night life and now several restaurants and night clubs in Lebanon might have the same fate as Buddha Bar’s.
