REPORT: Lebanese children participate in "Big Dance" event in Central Beirut

On Saturday 18 May 2013, thousands of children from over 1,000 schools in Lebanon and across the world took part in the Big Dance event of 2013 held in Beirut Souks –Fakhry Bek Street, and which is considered as a legacy to the Olympic and Paralympic Games, created especially for the children by Tamara Rojo and Artistic Director in the English National Ballet.              

851 students came together from 15 Lebanese schools to celebrate this day with their counterparts from around the world, for a 3 minute dance aiming at encouraging people to get into dance, increase fitness levels and generate a legacy of dance for everybody.
