German Chancellor calls on Israel to adhere to international law

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz stated during the Munich Security Conference on Saturday that Germany urges Israel to adhere to international law in the conflict in Gaza and refrain from opening a second front on its northern border with Lebanon.

He added that it is essential to prevent Iran from exploiting the conflict to expand its influence.
