Israeli forces arrest Al Jazeera correspondent in Gaza hospital raid

The Israeli army arrested on Monday Ismail al-Ghoul, a correspondent for Al Jazeera, from within Al-Shifa Hospital located in Gaza City, according to Al Jazeera.

This incident occurred following the Israeli army’s incursion into the largest medical complex in the Gaza Strip.

Al Jazeera said that reports indicate that al-Ghoul, while carrying out his professional duties, was subjected to a “brutal assault by the occupying army before his arrest.”

Furthermore, the Israeli forces targeted broadcasting vehicles affiliated with media crews stationed at Al-Shifa Medical Hospital.

Speaking from within Al-Shifa Hospital, journalist Mahmoud Aliwa told Al Jazeera that the Israeli forces inside the complex apprehended Ismail al-Ghoul and several of his colleagues.
