Hamas criticizes statement by US and 17 countries for focusing on the release of hostages

Hamas criticized on Friday a statement issued by the United States and 17 other countries that called for the release of all hostages to end the crisis in Gaza. 

The movement expressed regret that the statement did not address Palestinian demands.

Hamas added in a statement that it is open to any ideas or proposals for a ceasefire and remains committed to its main demands.
