Berri: Lebanese army is fully capable of eradicating terrorism from outskirts

 Speaker Nabih Berri asserted on Friday that the Lebanese Armed Forces is fully capable of completing the battles to eradicate terrorism from the border towns, mainly the part that is still under the control of the Islamic State.

“The timing of the battles is in the hands of the army’s Command which will find the appropriate time and conditions to complete its mission,” Berri added.

“Our army is one of the best armies in the region and has proved a high combat efficiency in its fight against terrorism," he noted.
