President Emmanuel Macron pays tribute to Beirut Blast commemoration, reiterates support for Lebanon

On Friday, France's President Emmanuel Macron commemorated the Beirut Port explosion, expressing solidarity with the Lebanese people. 

On the X social media platform, the French president said, "Lebanese people, I am thinking of you. After the explosion in Beirut three years ago, I stood by your side. I will forever remember our interactions." 

He continued: "Lebanon was not alone. It still is not. You can rely on France, our solidarity, our friendship."
