France calls on Lebanon, Hezbollah to 'remain out of the conflict'

The French Presidency announced on Saturday that the Lebanese and Hezbollah should "stay out of the conflict" between Israel and Hamas, expressing "serious concern" about the tense situation on the border between Lebanon and Israel.

The Élysée Palace stated during a press briefing that Hezbollah and the Lebanese should "exercise restraint to avoid opening a second front in the region where Lebanon would be the first victim."
