Canada urges citizens to leave Lebanon while flights remain available

The Canadian Foreign Minister Melanie Jolie announced on Monday on the X platform that Canadians should consider leaving Lebanon while they can because of the growing security risks in the region.

She also stressed, "As the crisis continues in Gaza, the West Bank, and Israel, the security situation in the region has become increasingly volatile."

"Canadians in Lebanon should consider leaving while commercial flights remain available," Joly said.
