Netanyahu says that Israel is making 'progress' in the Gaza war

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced on Monday that the Israeli military was making "systematic progress" in the Gaza Strip on the twenty-fourth day of the war between Israel and the Palestinian movement, Hamas.

The Prime Minister, in a video message distributed by his office, stated, "The army has expanded its ground incursion into the Gaza Strip, taking measured and highly forceful steps, making consistent progress step by step."
