Israeli airstrikes kill six fighters in Gaza, including a Hamas counterintelligence official

The Israeli army said on Wednesday that Israeli airstrikes in the Gaza Strip killed six Palestinian fighters, including the official responsible for counterintelligence within the Hamas movement in the southern region of the Strip.

The army added in a statement summarizing its operations in the past few hours that it killed the counterintelligence officer Bilal Naoufal, impacting "significantly on the terrorist organization's ability to develop and enhance its capabilities."
