Netanyahu: Israel will not withdraw its forces from Gaza or release thousands of Palestinian prisoners

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Tuesday that Israel will not withdraw its forces from the Gaza Strip or release thousands of Palestinian detainees, conflicting with media reports about some possible conditions for a potential truce agreement with Hamas.

Netanyahu added in statements broadcast on Israeli television, "We will not end this war without achieving all of its goals. This means eliminating Hamas, releasing all hostages, and ensuring that Gaza does not pose a threat to Israel anymore."
