A Hamas official told Reuters that the proposed ceasefire plan includes three stages

A senior official in Hamas told Reuters on Tuesday that a proposal for a new ceasefire in the war between the movement and Israel in Gaza would include three stages, including the release of hostages held by the movement and Palestinian prisoners in Israeli prisons.  

The official added that the first stage would involve the release of women, children, the elderly, and the wounded.
