EU must prepare to include new members by 2030: Charles Michel

European Council President Charles Michel affirmed on Monday that the European Union should prepare to admit new members "by 2030," during a conference in Slovenia.

Michel stated: "As we prepare the European Union's next strategic agenda, we must set a clear goal for ourselves. I believe we have to be prepared - on both sides - by 2030 for enlargement."
