Russian President Putin will meet with Chinese counterpart

Russian President Vladimir Putin will arrive in China next week to meet his counterpart Xi Jinping and strengthen relations with his strategic partner, in a new indication of his increasing dependence on Beijing.

The Chinese capital will host representatives from 130 countries, including the Russian President, on October 17 and 18, to attend the New Silk Roads Forum.
