Russia demands captives’ release in Gaza during talks with Hamas, other factions

The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov called for the captives’ release in the Gaza Strip during phone calls held on Sunday and Monday with the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) and other Palestinian factions.

This comes after a series of meetings and calls between President Vladimir Putin and leaders in the Middle East, including Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
